The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is there for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
